Cross-Professional Collaboration

We work in partnership with other healthcare practitioners whether they be GPs, consultants, physiotherapists, midwives, chiropractors, osteopaths, homoeopaths, masseurs, aromatherapists, reflexologists, Western medical herbalists or whoever. The main emphasis is upon achieving an integrated solution that benefits our mutual patients.

As the profile of acupuncture has risen over the last decade, due to a combination of modern scientific research, publicity and continually raising the bar of professional standards, GPs and other orthodox healthcare professionals have become increasingly ready to refer their patients to us either when modern medicine has no solution for a particular patient or when the side-effects of an orthodox treatment outweigh the benefits accrued from that therapy.
